Inspiring Artists Through Creative and Supportive Programs

The Father Ryan Visual and Performing Arts Department provides students the opportunity to express themselves and expand their knowledge of their chosen discipline. Courses focus on artistic and technical development while building an appreciation for the rich and varied history and tradition of the visual and performing arts.

Whether a student is interested in band, choir, dance, theatre, or the visual arts, Father Ryan offers a comprehensive curriculum that encourages individual growth through creative, personal, and spiritual development.

I was looking for schools with good musical opportunities, and Father Ryan was the best fit. Since I came to Father Ryan, I’ve felt very included and feel like I can be myself in everything I’m involved with. By participating in the arts programs, I’ve made great friends and have been able to get out of my shell.

Father Ryan Arts Department

All Father Ryan Arts Department faculty and staff serve as Teaching Artists to our students, as they all continue to professionally work in their chosen discipline outside of the classroom to fuel their creative spirits and inspire our students to never stop learning.

From recording Grammy-nominated soundtracks and performing professionally on saxophone to exhibiting art across the country and choreographing for local theatres, our Teaching Artists continue to impress us with their God-given talents.
